Together, we can shine a light in our community!
The Temple Christian College Paralowie community is a long-term supporter of the work at our Inner City site.
Even with this history in mind, we were blown away by the recent generosity of students, staff and student families at Temple’s Paralowie Campus.
Approximately 1300 non-perishable food items were donated to help us continue our Emergency Relief hampers that are so gratefully received by hundreds of families every year.
We are indebted to each of you who continue to support us as we care for those in need.
Every year, Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre provides more than 2,000 emergency relief parcels.
Our pantry is stocked with non-perishable food and household items, thanks to generous donors like Flinders Street Baptist Church.
Their gift included everything from canned goods to breakfast cereals and other essentials. All items have been included in hampers that will be given to struggling South Australians.
Thank you for these blessings. Our clients and all of us at Baptist Care SA appreciate your generosity and care.
For most of us, winter involves hot comfort food in our bellies, cosy beds and warm houses to go home to. But for some people, the reality is very different – with not enough money for food, warm clothes or even a place to call home.
Thank you to Cafe Outside the Square for preparing and distributing hearty soup for people in need as part of their Soup&Sleep 2021 activity. The donation was gratefully appreciated by WestCare clients.
Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre offers people experiencing homelessness a place of hope and a sanctuary from the cold, harsh reality of life on the streets. This would not be possible without the generosity of our supporters like Cafe Outside the Square.
Ayden Wilmott from Edenvale Farms generously donated 12 trays of large eggs to the WestCare Kitchen. The eggs were used in our breakfast service providing clients with a hearty start to the day.
Our WestCare Centre provides free breakfast, Monday to Friday, from 9 am – 10.30 am, to struggling South Australians along with access to a warm shower, free laundry and other services.
