Since the last CPS update, Short Term Care and Disability Pathways have been working hard in preparing for their transition to CPS. This has involved both Short Term Care and Disability Pathways setting up placements, clients and schedules in CPS.
To give you an idea of the amount of work both Short Term Care and Disability Pathways have undertaken to ensure they are ready, the following statistics have been compiled from the CPS system:
Across October, to assist staff to prepare for the transition to CPS, we ran 27 training sessions for Short Term Care and Disability Pathways with a combined attendance of 250 staff across the two areas.
In addition to all the work being done to help teams transition to CPS, the CPS Project Team presented at the AlayaCare Australia Conference in Melbourne in October. This provided the team with the opportunity to share with other organisations the Baptist Care SA journey so far, the vision for CPS within Baptist Care SA as part of the Strategic Horizons Plan, as well as some of the learnings from the implementation of CPS. Feedback from other organisations who attended the session was extremely positive.
In summary, the CPS team is making good progress, but there is still more work to do as we push towards the end of the year. Thank you to all staff who have been working hard to ensure a smooth transition across to CPS – keep up the good work!
