Courage through Crisis

Courage through Crisis

What a year it has been!

The 2019 – 2020 Australian bushfire season saw South Australian communities among those who lost lives, homes and livelihoods. Closely followed by the outbreak of COVID-19.

This has been totally new territory, with completely new challenges.  We’ve needed each other’s skills and knowledge more than ever.

And we have been humbled by the way in which our volunteers, donors, supporters, churches, funders and even those who up until now we know nothing about – stood alongside us and those we care for.

Kate McGarry, Executive Leader, Service Pathways recently recorded a short clip for the annual Baptist Care Australia Conference (held online on 25 November) which illustrated the challenges we’ve faced together and the amazing things that have been happening in our organisation and our community.
