International Day of People with Disability

International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) was on 3 December 2020.

We sent each of our Disability Pathways clients seeds to plant as a celebration of inclusion, diversity and most importantly, the belief in seeing the ability in disability. We hope you have enjoyed nurturing your seeds and watching them grow. It’s not too late to send us a photo if you wish to do so – let your Support Coordinator know and they can give it to us.

We acknowledge Bunnings Mile End for their generous donation of seed packets and twine.

Baptist Care SA, lives, works and walks on Kaurna, Peramangk and Boandik lands. We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the state’s first peoples, recognise their traditional ownership, and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs, deep connection and continued guardianship of land and waters. We value the contributions of Elders past and present, and are committed to learning from those emerging.
