NDIA Pricing Changes for Registered Providers in Response to COVID-19

Baptist Care SA continues to provide services across the state and is complying with all government guidelines in this challenging time.  We are committed to supporting our clients and anyone struggling in our community – and this won’t change.

As you may be aware, on 25 March 2020, the NDIA announced temporary changes to the Price Guide to help registered providers continue to provide essential supports to clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We would like to let you know that we will be implementing these changes from 8 April 2020. They will help our team to maintain continuity of service and provide you with further assistance during these challenging times.

These changes may be in place for a period of up to six months (subject to ongoing review) and include:

  • A 10 per cent increase to the price limit of selected Core and Capacity Building supports, including Assistance with Daily Life, Assistance with Social and Community Participation and Improved Daily Living Skills (please note this does not include Supported Independent Living)
  • Changes to the cancellation rules to require ten (10) days’ notice rather than two (2) days for short notice cancellations and allow for claiming of 100% of the agreed support price, rather than 90%
  • The introduction of three new support coordination items under Core Supports so that participants can access new support co-ordination services using either their Core or Capacity Building budgets.

If you would like to talk to us about how these changes might apply to your services, we would be happy to talk to you. Please contact us on 08 8273 7100 or email us at [email protected]

We feel privileged to be ‘on your team’ at this time and together, we will find a way forward.
