NDIA Pricing Guide changes for registered providers

On the 29 June 2020, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) published an update to the Price Guide and Support Catalogue 2020‒21.

The new prices reflect the indexed prices as a result of the Fair Work Commission Annual Wage Review and came into effect from 1 July 2020.  Participant plan funds have been automatically indexed from 1 July 2020 to take into account of the Fair Work Commission decision and movement in the Consumer Price Index.

The update also reflects the end of some of the temporary arrangements introduced in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Some additional changes include:

  • clarification around evening support times and shift boundaries
  • changes to Establishment Fee’s and the introduction of new item lines
  • a new Supported Independent Living (SIL) Provider Tool Kit and changes to Supported Independent Living Price Controls
  • continued flexibility of Core Support Budgets across four sub categories:
    • Assistance with Daily Living, Community Participation, Transport and Consumables.
  • new Transport Lines and improved flexibility for those clients whose Transport Budget is built within Core Supports
  • providers are now able to claim 100% of agreed support prices when short notice cancellation applies ,and
