Once you have determined eligibility with the NDIS (visit ndis.gov.au for more information), it’s time to prepare for your “Planning” meeting with the NDIA. In this meeting, you will be asked questions about how you are going in different areas of your life. This helps the NDIA to develop a plan that provides the right support for you.
Your Planning meeting may be in person, or over the phone.
TIP:
We have developed an “NDIS Pre-Planning Guide”, which will help you prepare for your Planning meeting.
You can use it to think about who you are, what you enjoy doing, identify your goals and things that are important to you. These things will help to build the best possible NDIS plan for you.
We recommend filling it out and bringing it with you to your Planning meeting. If you can’t fill it out on your own, you can ask a carer or someone you can trust to help you.
