    Moving to Independent Living

Our Stabilisation, Assessment and Transition Service (also known as SATS) provides young people aged 15-18 years under the Guardianship of the Chief Executive with medium to long-term transitional accommodation in our Residential Care Services or Supported Independent Living Service.

We aim to help young people develop their independent living skills in a stable and safe environment and prepare them for living in the wider community after they turn 18.

Located in Metropolitan Adelaide, we have a mixed gender residential property with 24/7 skilled staff who support young people to develop their independent living skills. We also provide outreach support to 4 supported Independent Living Units where young people are supported to live independently.  Residents also have access to Adventure Therapy, Art Therapy and mentoring and care plan reviews by Clinical Psychologists.

Referral to this service is completed by the Department for Child Protection.
