Without a home, you cannot prepare a meal, have a shower or clean your clothes. If you can’t wash yourself or your clothes you smell and people avoid being with you. Most of the time you are simply ignored. Anyone who comes to our WestCare Centre is welcome. Our facilities provide dignity and are offered with respect. There is no charge for those unable to pay.
Soap and towels provided free of charge.
Free use of a washing machine, powder and clothes line.
RDNS Nurse – Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. The friendly RDNS nurse can advise you on health matters and refer you to other services if needed. Or simply talk through what is happening in your life.
Doctor from Nunkuwarrin Yunti – Wednesday (every 2 weeks), 9.30am – 11.30am.
Free legal advice (for people with a Centrelink concession card)
Fridays 11am – 3pm (during University Semesters).
