As the cost of living continues to soar, more South Australian families are being pushed into crisis. For many, it’s the first time they’ve ever needed help.
Just over a year ago, Amanda’s family was modest but stable. But when her husband Luke was made redundant, everything changed. Her daughter Chloe gave up basketball to save money, and Amanda struggled to afford asthma medication for her youngest, Riley. That’s when she turned to Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre.
Thanks to kind donors like you, Amanda received a food hamper and access to support services that made all the difference.
Please donate today and help us support more families like Amanda’s through the cold months ahead. Because no parent should have to choose between feeding their child and keeping them warm.

Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre is a safe place where people from all walks of life are welcome.
Each week, we provide approximately 200 free community meals.
Without government funding, it costs around $35,000 each month to keep our dining hall open.
Rising costs and growing need mean that your support is needed now more than ever.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a profound difference in the lives of those facing isolation and hardship.
Please donate today to help us continue our life-changing work.
