Your gift can bring hope and joy this Christmas

With your support, we can show people who have lost hope that they are worthy of love.

It’s because of donors like you that during 2024 we have been able to provide over 33,000 meals to people in need.

As Christmas approaches, your generosity is needed more than ever to help people like Don who found a second chance and a sense of belonging at Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre.

Don came to the WestCare Centre during one of the darkest periods of his life. Struggling with addiction and experiencing homelessness, he visited daily for a meal and found something even more meaningful—a community that showed him love, dignity, and hope.

“I didn’t believe I was worth caring about,” Don recalls. “But the workers here treated me like I mattered. Slowly, I started to believe I could choose a different path.”

With the support of the WestCare Centre community and the kindness of donors, Don turned his life around.

Today, he is one of the WestCare Centre’s most valued team members-  giving back to others who are walking the road he once travelled.

“Working and volunteering here changed my life completely. On Christmas Day, it’s amazing to see how one meal and one act of kindness can make such a difference.”

This Christmas, your gift can help us open our doors to hundreds of people like Don who need a safe place to belong and a reminder that they are not alone.

Please donate today and help us create a brighter Christmas for those who need it most.
