Mylor Adventure Camp – state of the art kitchen and dining room serving up a storm!

It’s been a busy year at Mylor Adventure Camp as the redevelopment works progressed. The first step was a complete upgrade of the wastewater treatment system – an essential foundation for subsequent site development and growth.

The new industrial kitchen, selfcatering kitchen, upgraded dining room and extensive al fresco deck are now complete. Not only does this transform the food preparation and cooking experience for our staff, but we can now seat more than 200 diners, either in one large communal space, or in two smaller areas, linked to the servery by a wonderful outside area that can also provide additional dining or meeting space.

And, if our campers want to prepare and cook their own meals, they have access to a purpose-built kitchen area, separate to the main kitchen, with access to the servery. This space has already fed hungry mouths for several weekend camps.

And the icing on the cake – a brand new commercial coffee machine and barista training for our Adventure team. Campers can pre-order their beverages to be available throughout their stay.

These amazing facilities have increased our capacity to grow not only our business, but also our ministry and Mission.
