Supported Independent Living

Live independently in a Supported Independent Living arrangement, with high levels of support and the option of having a Support Worker stay overnight.

Supported Independent Living - What we do

Best suited for people living with a disability who have high support needs, Supported Independent Living participants are supported with everyday tasks such as cooking and cleaning, managing their budgets, developing their social, relational and communication skills and participating in sport and recreational activities. Support Workers can even stay overnight, if needed.

Supported Independent Living - From our customers

“My son has Down Syndrome and is in a Supported Independent Living arrangement with Baptist Care SA.

After 30 years, I found it hard at first, but I was reassured by all the lovely carers who care for him. It took a lot of pressure off me.

I found Baptist Care SA to be very professional and helpful.

I don’t worry about him because I know he is happy and being taken care of.”
