Long term care provides a safe and stable therapeutic environment to young people until they are able to transition back with family, into Foster Care or into Independent Living.
We have residential care houses across Metropolitan Adelaide and in Mt Gambier, with a number of these houses set-up to support young people with an intellectual disability.
Our residential houses are staffed 24/7 with either 3 or 4 young people residing in each home. The houses may provide support to sibling groups or a group of young people who have the same support needs.
Referral to the service is completed by the Department for Child Protection.
