    Homelessness

A warm welcome and a safe place.

Young South Australians struggling with life have been coming to us for help for more than 20 years.  Many are working through complex issues of family breakdowns, domestic violence, homelessness, drug addiction and more.

Despite these obstacles, we can see the potential in every young person and our Inner Southern Youth Homelessness Service provides support to those aged 15 – 25 who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.

If this is you, our aim is not just to meet your immediate residential needs but to help you overcome the issues that caused your homelessness. If you have recently become homeless, facilitating family communication or reconnecting you back to other close family members is often an effective solution.

Whichever way it works best, our primary focus is for you to find and maintain long term stable housing. You may be able to access interim accommodation for up to 18 months, while our caring and professional staff support you to make positive choices and help you prepare for transition to permanent housing.
