Stabilisation, Assessment + Transition

Providing people aged 15-18 years under the Guardianship of the Chief Executive with medium to long-term transitional accommodation.

Our Stabilisation, Assessment and Transition Service helps young people develop their independent living skills in a stable and safe environment and prepare them for living in the wider community after they turn 18.

We have a mixed gender residential property in Adelaide where young people are supported, with workers on site, 24 hours a day seven days a week.

Residents also have access to Adventure Therapy, Art Therapy and mentoring and care plan reviews by Clinical Psychologists.

We also provide outreach support to supported Independent Living Units.

Referral to this service is completed by the Department for Child Protection.

Baptist Care SA, lives, works and walks on Kaurna, Peramangk and Boandik lands. We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the state’s first peoples, recognise their traditional ownership, and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs, deep connection and continued guardianship of land and waters. We value the contributions of Elders past and present, and are committed to learning from those emerging.
