Volunteer Food Hub Assistants provide our community with friendly customer service, operate the cash register, scan grocery items and stock shelves for between 5 and 15 hours per week.

Volunteer Pastoral Care Assistants

Volunteer Pastoral Care Assistants build positive and supportive relationships with Baptist Care SA’s WestCare Centre community. Volunteers need to be able to commit to one shift per week for at least three months, between 9am to 1pm, Monday to Friday.

Provide leadership and support to the Community Connections music program, Chords and Connections by attending the fortnightly program, chatting with and encouraging participants in the program, and modelling positive participation.

Volunteer Bunkhouse Leaders

Volunteer Bunkhouse Leaders lead groups of young people aged 10-15 years through week-long musters in a Christian camping environment at Wirraway Homestead during school holidays while being mentored by working alongside our friendly and experienced team. Many bunkhouse leaders find it is a great way to enhance their education and gain status towards their studies.

  • Current Working with Children Check or DHS Child Related Employment Screening Clearance.
  • National Police Check (less than 12 months old).
  • Safe Environments for Children and Young People (Formerly Child Safe Environments) Training Certificate (less than 3 years old).
