Chosen by corporate, community and church groups across South Australia, the Adelaide Hills provides a rare balance of nature, comfort and convenience, close to the city, yet far enough away to feel like a genuine retreat.
Why the Adelaide Hills works for group retreats
Just 20–30 minutes from Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills offers rolling countryside, forests and vineyards that together create a setting that naturally lifts people out of the everyday. This change of pace makes it easier to focus, collaborate and engage in shared experiences, which is why the region is such a popular choice for corporate retreats, off-site meetings and team-based programs.
What to look for in group accommodation near Adelaide
Choose a flexible venue that suits your group size and program. Consider:
- the type of accommodation available, its configuration and amenities
- spaces available to meet, work and gather
- A/V equipment for workshops and meetings
- facilities that support team building and group programs
- catering or kitchen options
- areas for outdoor activities, recreation, and connection
