We take students on multi-day adventures in regional SA and Vic locations and are specialists in tailoring and delivering expeditions incorporated into The Rite Journey programs.
Our expeditions are famous for inspiring challenge-by-choice, instilling shared responsibility, and encouraging wellbeing.
Tailored to support learning outcomes such as conservation, environmental learning, faith development and social justice, our expeditions help young people build resilience and self-confidence.
We specialise in expeditions that support teens in their transition to adulthood as part of The Rite Journey’s rite of passage program. We take teens outside of their comfort zone to learn more about themselves, while supporting them to become resourceful, responsible, and reflective adults.
Let’s talk about how we can tailor a multi-day expedition for your school.

Excursions take students on day-long adventures offsite, while incursions bring adventures to school gyms and ovals.
With trained facilitators who can organise everything, our excursions and incursions are easy and effective options for teachers.
Excursions step students out of the classroom to spend a day outdoors, filled with adventure activities and purposeful team-building experiences. Single-day excursions can include: hiking the Heysen Trail (set off from Mylor Adventure Camp) rock climbing and abseiling at Morialta or Onkaparinga, and the Amazing Race at Hahndorf, Tanunda, West Beach, or the CBD.
Our incursions engage and entertain students while meeting your learning goals within the convenience and safety of your oval or gym making them the perfect blend of learning and fun. Let us bring our adventures to your school!

An intensive, group-based adventure therapy program that challenges and supports students who are struggling with motivation, healthy decision making and peer group challenges.
Delivered weekly over a 10-week term, groups of 10 to 12 students undertake activities which increase in intensity and culminate in a multi-night expedition.
Through structured, adventure based learning and group work that takes a relational and restorative approach to wellbeing, students explore self-awareness, healthy peer relationships, managing emotions, healthy risk-taking, and goal setting.
Using challenge-by-choice principles, students are encouraged to take control of their own decision-making, determine how they can make positive differences in their school and home lives, set goals, and experience personal and group success.
Acceptance into Tumbelin Boost is through school recommendation. Talk to us to find out more.
