Engaging Indigenous youth along with special services for Aboriginal Elders.
Building independence and promoting wellbeing for Aboriginal Elders in our community.
Call (08) 8118 5200.
We respect the Aboriginal Elders of our community and value the contribution they make to our programs and the wider community.
Our Elders Program supports both men and women who are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island descent, residing in the Southern and Eastern Metropolitan areas. Specifically, we work with people over 50 years old, who are living in the community and feeling aged and frail. We also work with women over 18 years, who are living with a moderate; severe or profound disability and/or experiencing social isolation
If this sounds like you, our aim is to work with you to build your independence and your sense of wellbeing as you reconnect with your local community and participate in social and recreational activities.
Perhaps you require access to counselling to help identify your needs, or a detailed Care Plan where we can help you liaise with service providers? Maybe you want to find group activities, or assistance with daily tasks like shopping, banking and letter writing? We can also assist with transport to appointments, meals and other activities.
We work in partnership with community services, families and members of the community to create positive community growth through exchanging information, knowledge and experience.

For young people, moving toward adulthood can bring up many questions about who you are and what options you have in life.
Working with 16 to 24 year olds, our dedicated team will re-engage and support you to participate in education to help prepare you for the job market and better employment opportunities.
If you are looking for deadly cultural activities, increased confidence and a stronger connection to culture, read the Deadly Pathways brochure to find out how you can be involved. Or you can fill out the online Deadly Pathways Referral Form.
