Wirrwaway Homestead Accommodation and Facilities 

With accommodation for up to 105 people and space for meetings and games in The Shed, Wirraway Homestead, in Strathalbyn in the Adelaide Hills, is an ideal venue for camps and events.

Large groups of up to 85 people can be accommodated in bunk bed and dormitory style accommodation in The Bunkhouse. Each bunkhouse can house six to 14 people with en-suite bathrooms. 

Smaller groups of up to 20 people can be accommodated in Pete’s Place. Self-contained with a spacious and open plan lounge/dine/kitchenette, Pete’s Place can be booked separately or with The Bunkhouse, and it is ideal accommodation for retreats, teachers, and group leaders.

Wirraway Homestead offers fully catered and self catered options. Full catering is prepared onsite by our catering staff, and guests have the option of using our fully equipped kitchen.

Pete’s Place

    Self-contained accommodation that can sleep up to 20 guests in a combination of single, double, and bunk beds across eight bedrooms, with shared bathrooms and a spacious air-conditioned open plan lounge/dine/kitchen. Can be booked separately or with The Bunkhouse and is ideal accommodation for retreats, teachers, and group leaders.

The Shed 

  • The Shed

    The Shed is a multi-use space fitted with an AV system, various game tables, and a combustion heater. Ideal for groups to gather for workshops, conferences, and worship.

Meals and Dining 

  • Fully catered option

    Includes breakfast, morning or afternoon tea, lunch, and dinner prepared by our fully qualified staff in our commercial kitchen using fresh ingredients. Meals are served in our early settler style dining room.

  • Self catered option

    Wirraway Homestead's kitchen is available for groups wanting to do their own catering. It includes a walk-in fridge, walk-in freezer, stove, oven, bain marie, pots, cutlery, and crockery. An outside BBQ is also available for use.
