See the ways to donateBaptist Care SA is part of a national network of Baptist Care organisations called Baptist Care Australia. Part of our national work together is communicating with politicians and policy makers about how to improve the lives of the people we serve.
While we have a lot to be thankful for in Australia, we all know that there is still lots of room for improvement.
The next federal election is on its way and Baptist Care Australia is taking the opportunity to speak about some of the most urgent needs in our communities.
If you would like to see change in relation to these issues, Baptist Care Australia invites you to raise your voice in the lead-up to federal election.
What action will you take?
I encourage you to visit the Baptist Care Australia website for information about the issues outlined. There are step-by-step guides to help you do something to let people know that you’d like things to change, along with an option to let Baptist Care Australia know that you’ve taken action.
You could sign up to support a campaign, write to a local member or newspaper, meet with your local member of parliament, or organise an election forum for your church or community group.
Alternatively, you might like to subscribe to regularly receive information about the work of Baptist Care Australia, or follow on Facebook or Twitter for news about the campaign.
By taking small actions together, I believe we have an opportunity this federal election to raise our voices in harmony with others in our Baptist Care family from across the nation.
