Recipe: Lemon Coconut Slice

There are many favourites on the Mylor Adventure Camp menu, but these slices are always a great hit – so to celebrate our new kitchen facilities, we’re pleased to share the recipe with you:


  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 250 g butter or margarine
  • 500 g biscuit crumbs (Milk Arrowroot Biscuits)
  • 2 cups coconut
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • Juice of 1 lemon


Melt butter or marg and condensed milk together in the microwave until butter is melted and the mixture is combined.


Add to crushed biscuits and coconut and mix well.


Press into a greased or baking paper lined slice tray (28cm x 18cm).


Ice with lemon icing and sprinkle with coconut.


Refrigerate 1 hour, cut into squares and serve. ENJOY!


Icing: Combine 1 cup icing sugar and the juice of 1 lemon and zest (maybe a little water if needed).
